Sample Day Itinerary

06:00 AM – Pick‑up and departure from Delhi
Your driver meets you at your chosen location in Delhi / NCR. After a brief introduction, you begin the drive towards Bharatpur, with an optional stop on the way for tea, coffee or a light snack.

10:00 AM – Arrive at Bharatpur and enter the park
On arrival in Bharatpur, proceed to the entrance of Keoladeo National Park. After purchasing entry tickets and arranging cycles or rickshaws if you wish, you enter the sanctuary and start your birdwatching and nature walk.

Late morning – Birdwatching inside Keoladeo
Follow the main paths and side trails through woodland and wetlands, stopping frequently to watch birds, small mammals and reptiles. The flat terrain and slow pace make the park suitable for a wide range of ages and fitness levels.

01:00 PM – Lunch break in Bharatpur
Leave the park for a while and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or hotel in Bharatpur. Use this time to rest, review sightings and plan the afternoon session according to your energy and interests.

Afternoon – More time in the sanctuary
Return to the park for another round of birdwatching, exploring different sections or revisiting favourite spots from the morning. Light is often softer later in the day, which can be good for photography and quieter observation.

04:00–04:30 PM – Begin drive back to Delhi
In the late afternoon, you say goodbye to Bharatpur and start the return journey to Delhi. Relax in the car as you travel back, with time to rest or simply enjoy the changing scenery.

08:00–08:30 PM – Drop‑off in Delhi
By evening you arrive back in Delhi and are dropped at your hotel, home stay or airport, bringing your Delhi–Bharatpur same day tour to a close.

• Tips or gratuities for driver, rickshaw pullers or local staff, at your discretion.

Comfortable walking shoes, neutral‑coloured clothing, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent and binoculars or a camera with zoom are strongly recommended. As bird activity and species vary by season and time of day, guests are encouraged to treat the visit as a relaxed nature experience as well as a chance to see as many birds as possible.
