• Amber Fort: Explore this hilltop UNESCO‑listed fort, famous for its gateways, courtyards, mirror‑work halls and views over Maota Lake. An optional elephant ride or jeep ride up to the main entrance can be arranged, subject to availability and your preference.
• Jal Mahal (photo stop): Pause by the lakeside to photograph Jal Mahal, the “Water Palace” that appears to float in the middle of the lake on the way between Amber and the city.
• City Palace: Visit parts of the still‑occupied royal residence, including museum sections that display garments, weapons, paintings and decorative arts from the Jaipur court.
• Jantar Mantar: Walk among the large stone and metal instruments at this 18th‑century astronomical observatory and see how they were used to track time and the movement of celestial bodies.
• Hawa Mahal (outside view): Stop to admire and photograph the famous “Palace of Winds”, a pink‑sandstone façade with rows of small windows once used by royal ladies to watch street life below.
• Local markets: Spend some free time in Jaipur’s traditional bazaars where shops sell textiles, handicrafts, jewellery and other Rajasthani specialities, or simply enjoy tea and snacks if you prefer not to shop.

Sample Same Day Itinerary

05:00–05:30 AM – Pick‑up in Delhi
Your driver meets you at your hotel, home stay or the airport in Delhi / NCR. After a brief introduction, you set off towards Jaipur on the expressway, with an optional short stop for tea or coffee on the way.

09:30–10:00 AM – Arrive Jaipur & Amber Fort
On arrival in Jaipur, head straight to Amber Fort. Explore the fort’s gates, courtyards, halls and temples, and take in panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Your local guide, if included, explains the history and legends associated with the fort and the former rulers of Jaipur.

Late Morning – Jal Mahal photo stop
Driving back towards the main city, pause at Jal Mahal for photos of the palace set in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. This is typically a short stop but offers one of Jaipur’s most recognisable views.

Midday – City Palace & Lunch
Continue to City Palace, where museum sections display royal costumes, arms, manuscripts and decorative items. After your visit, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try Rajasthani dishes or a more familiar menu, depending on your taste.

Afternoon – Jantar Mantar & Hawa Mahal
Walk across to Jantar Mantar, the open‑air observatory with large, precise instruments used to measure time and track stars. Afterwards, stop near Hawa Mahal to view and photograph its famous façade from the street outside and learn how it was used in royal times.

Late Afternoon – Markets or extra sightseeing
If time allows, visit a local market area or handicraft showroom, or spend a little longer at one of the main monuments according to your interests. This is also a good time to pick up small souvenirs such as textiles, blue pottery or jewellery.

Evening – Drive back to Delhi
In the early evening you leave Jaipur for the return drive to Delhi. After a break en route if needed, you arrive back in the city and are dropped at your chosen location, marking the end of your same day Jaipur tour.
