Sample One Day Itinerary

Early Morning – Departure from Delhi
Your driver meets you at your chosen location in Delhi / NCR. After a brief introduction, you set out on the Yamuna Expressway towards Mathura, usually with a short break for tea or coffee on the way.

Morning – Mathura temples and ghat
On reaching Mathura, begin with Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple to visit the main shrine and see the area marking Krishna’s birthplace, then continue to Dwarkadhish Temple. Afterwards, head to Vishram Ghat on the Yamuna for a gentle walk and time to observe local rituals and river views.

Midday – Drive to Vrindavan and lunch
Travel the short distance from Mathura to Vrindavan. On arrival, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can try simple North Indian or vegetarian dishes before continuing with temple visits.

Afternoon – Vrindavan temples
Visit Banke Bihari Temple to experience its devotional atmosphere, then proceed to the ISKCON Temple to see the Krishna Balaram shrine and ongoing kirtan. After this, make your way to Prem Mandir to explore the temple and landscaped grounds.

Evening – Return drive to Delhi
In the early evening you begin the drive back to Delhi. On arrival, you are dropped at your hotel, home stay or airport, completing your same day Mathura Vrindavan tour.
