Sample Night Tour Itinerary

Exact timing can change with the season and your preferences, but a typical Jaipur Night Safari runs like this:

• 5:00–5:30 PM – Hotel pick‑up: Meet your driver and guide at your Jaipur hotel and start the evening drive as the city lights begin to come on.
• 5:45–6:15 PM – Jal Mahal photo stop: Head towards Man Sagar Lake for twilight views of Jal Mahal floating on the water. Take reflective shots from the promenade before it gets fully dark.
• 6:30–7:15 PM – Amber or Nahargarh viewpoint: Continue towards Amber area or up to Nahargarh hill road (depending on traffic and chosen route) to see Jaipur and Amber Fort lit up from above. This is usually the best time for wide city‑scape photos.
• Optional – Amber Light & Sound Show: If you choose this add‑on, your driver brings you to Amber Fort in time for the evening show, which normally starts between 6:30–8:30 PM depending on the month. After the show you rejoin the city drive.
• 7:45–8:30 PM – Old city and Hawa Mahal: Drive back towards the old city to see Hawa Mahal lit at night and pass through the main bazaars and city gates, which glow in pink and orange light. Short photo stops can be made where parking is convenient.
• 8:30–9:30 PM – Albert Hall & city landmarks: Continue past the illuminated Albert Hall Museum, Birla Temple, Vidhan Sabha building and Statue Circle, getting a sense of Jaipur’s civic architecture and evening life.
• 9:30–10:00 PM – Drop back at hotel: End the tour with a relaxed drop at your hotel or at a pre‑agreed restaurant if you plan to have dinner out.
