• Golden City Fort Jaisalmer: Start near Jaisalmer Fort parking and walk up into the Golden City Fort, beautifully lit against the night sky. Tour Itinerary:

Day 1 - Night Walk Tour (7:00 PM to 9:00 PM):

1. Gather at Jaisalmer Fort parking around 7:00 PM to meet your storyteller and fellow participants. After a short briefing on the route, pace and simple temple etiquette, the group sets off together.
2. Begin the walk by entering the Golden City Fort Jaisalmer. Follow the curving path through its gates and lanes while you hear how this desert fort developed as a major centre for trade, defence and culture.
3. Pause near Rani Ka Mahal and Raja Ka Mahal to hear about Jaisalmer’s royal families. Look up at the detailed façades and learn how these palaces reflected power, taste and the lifestyle of the city’s rulers.
4. Continue to Surya Mandir and spend a few minutes admiring its structure and calm setting. Your guide explains the temple’s connection to the sun and its place in the daily lives of local worshippers.
5. Walk past the Jain Temples and observe their rich exterior carvings. Listen to a brief explanation of Jain beliefs, the role of merchant patrons and how these temples became an architectural highlight of the fort area.
6. Head down towards Fort Road and take a relaxed walk along the street, watching shops, homes and small eateries as the city settles into its evening rhythm.
7. Arrive at a City View Point to enjoy wide night views of Jaisalmer, with time for photos and final questions about the fort, markets and surrounding neighbourhoods.
8. End the tour near Manak Chowk, close to Amar Sagar Pol, where you can explore the market further, find a place for dinner or return comfortably to your hotel.
